Install local heat cable projects prepared with professional design support. Rocky Mountain Heat Cable is inviting electricians and qualified installers to register interest in project referrals, particularly outside our core Wasatch Front installation service area.
Bring your installation skills. Build a lasting referral relationship.
Our goal is to connect design-approved projects and customers committed to moving forward with capable local installers. You agree and charge for your installation labor directly with the customer. Great work can lead to further opportunities in your area.
How the Referral Relationship Works
1. Tell us about your company and coverage
Share your business details, service cities or ZIP areas, trade experience and heat cable capabilities. We review project fit and discuss the qualifications, insurance and applicable licensing needed for the work you would perform.
2. We prepare the system and confirm customer readiness
Our design team works with the customer on the proposed heat cable layout, materials, controls and project scope. The intended referral is a designed project with a customer who has confirmed their intent to proceed.
3. Review a suitable local referral
Where approved partner coverage and project needs align, we discuss a referral with you. Customer details are shared with permission. Review the proposed design, verify site conditions and confirm the work you are qualified and available to perform.
4. Quote and charge for your labor directly
You and the customer agree the installation-labor scope, charges, schedule and payment arrangements directly. Electrical responsibilities, required permits, site access, material supply and any changes are clarified before work begins. Workmanship coverage is defined in your written agreement with the customer.
5. Complete the work and earn future opportunities
Follow the applicable manufacturer instructions, agreed design and site requirements. Document required tests, explain operation to the customer and address workmanship concerns under your agreement. Consistent quality, communication and follow-through help establish a long-term referral relationship.
What Supports Repeat Referrals
- Relevant trade qualifications, applicable licensing and appropriate insurance for the work performed.
- Clear labor proposals, realistic scheduling and dependable customer communication.
- Careful roof and gutter attachment, correct connections and coordinated electrical work.
- Documented manufacturer-required testing and a complete customer handoff.
- Responsive resolution of workmanship issues and positive project feedback.
Who Should Register?
Electricians, heat cable installers and installation companies serving residential, commercial or HOA properties are welcome to introduce their business. If your company handles only part of the work, describe your capabilities and how you coordinate the other trades.
Project Availability and Review
Applications begin a conversation about qualifications, coverage and fit. Referral opportunities depend on local customer demand, project readiness, approved coverage and performance. The project scope and referral arrangements are confirmed before an opportunity is accepted.
